With topics ranging from African American women's fiction to bluegrass music, and distinguished speakers such as Lee Smith, Randall Kenan, and Trudier Harris, the James A. The Hutchins Lectures generally take place on Tuesday afternoons at 4:00 in the Royall Room of the George Watts Hill Alumni Center on the UNC-CH campus.
