Tell About the South

David Ferguson, a visiting scholar from the University of Chicago, will speak about UNC Sociology and the Production of Race 1920-1945 on March 2 at Tell About the South.

This talk charts the course of the UNC Sociology Department over a twenty-five year period, chronicling the department’s efforts to negotiate a delicate balance between regional and racial concerns.  Open to UNC faculty and graduate students. Lunch provided but RSVP required.
